Deka Speed limiter device is so designed, constructed and assembled and fitted to the vehicle to make it maximum tamper proof and fail safe, against various factors such as disconnection / failure of various components e.g. power supply, speed sensor, mechanical actuator system, linkages etc. or any unauthorized modification and adjustment to the system.

When the vehicle, running at its set speed and with the driver's accelerator at its position of maximum travel, is subject to an accelerating force due to a down gradient, the limiter shall control speed by restricting the engine power to the limiter's minimum engine power control setting.
