Stringent Speed Limiter to be Enforced on Roads
Authorities plans to introduce advanced Deka Speed Limiter to monitor and enforce speed limits for all passengers service vehicles, lorries and haulage trucks to have speed limiter. This will prevent avoidable accidents that are due to over-speeding and negligence such as the bus accident that recently happened near Odzi River. Additionally, the authorities will conduct regular roadworthiness inspections to ensure that vehicles are in compliance with the required safety standards.
